The Vanuatu Citizenship by Investment program was officially launched in 2017 by the government of Vanuatu. To apply for Vanuatu Citizenship by Investment, below are the documents that are required to submit. Let’s have a look at each:

• Certified copy of a valid passport.
• Completed program nomination form.
• Completed original Vanuatu passport application form.
• Declaration of source of funds (original document).
• Certified copy of ID card or driver’s license.
• Police clearance certificate from your country of origin and any country where you have resided for more than 1 year in the past 10 years.
• Certified copy of global asset statement.
• Certified copy of proof of current residency (visa page, residency permit, etc.).
• Copy of your resume or curriculum vitae.
• Certified copy of the birth certificate, academic qualifications and marriage certificate (if applicable).

• Six recent passport photographs (40mm x 50mm).

To get citizenship through the Vanuatu Development Support Programme, the applicant must invest from $130,000 to $180,000 into a local development fund. The detailed version of this one-time contribution to the Vanuatu Development Support Programme (VDSP) for the Vanuatu Government is as follows:

• Single Applicant: $130,000
• Married Couple: $150,000
• Family of Three: $165,000
• Family of Four: $180,000
• Additional Family Members: $10,000

Some of these Vanuatu Development Support Programme (VDSP) shares are invested into shares of an approved fund, which are redeemable after five years.
